The Elwood Athletic Club (EAC) Summer Sports Program was implemented many years ago with girls basketball and boys football at the forefront. We have now seen it grow to include over 30 different sessions that meet the demands of most students in the Elwood community. Our coaches in this program are offering their knowledge and expertise to deliver wholesome activities that are designed for both the inexperienced and experienced. These programs will also provide the participant with a chance to meet many of our Varsity, Junior Varsity and Middle School coaching staffs with whom they may play for in the near future. The Elwood Athletic Club, Inc. is a Non-Profit organization that is not affiliated with             the Elwood School District.

Summer Employment

When hiring camp counselors for our summer programs, we typically hire counselors who were former campers and who have additionally worked a summer as an unpaid CIT.  The following summer those former CIT’s get priority in employment requests.  Many times our camp numbers fluctuate so a former CIT is not always guaranteed a position in that camp the following year.
